Petito Case: Search for Brian Laundrie includes K-9s and Dive Teams

NORTH PORT -- Several law enforcement agencies are back on scene at the Carlton Reserve, combing the swampy nature preserve for a fourth day as they attempt to find Gabby Petito's boyfriend and person of interest Brian Laundrie.

K-9's and diving resources are being brought in to the search. North Port Police Commander Joe Fussell says they're "trying to cover every acre in this preserve...I tell you these guys are motivated and they're hungry to find Brian Laundrie." He says conditions are challenging, describing them as "hot and wet."

The FBI wants to talk to Laundrie about the disappearance and death of Petito, whose body was discovered Sunday in a camping area near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. The Teton County coroner has ruled her death a homicide. Laundrie's family says he's been missing for a week, when he told them he was going hiking in the reserve. FBI agents raided their home in North Port Monday, and towed away Brian Laundrie's Mustang. Laundrie returned home without Petito from a western sightseeing trip September 1st. Ten days later, Laundrie's parents filed a missing person's report.
