Prosecutors are awaiting a ruling from a Palm Beach County judge regarding their request to lock up the co-founder of the popular Salt Life brand.

56-year old Michael Hutto is accused of murdering an 18-year old woman whose body was found inside his Singer Island hotel room two years ago. Hutto was arrested at a Jacksonville hospital where he was being treated for a drug overdose.

He's been out on bond awaiting trial, but witnesses in the case claim the man has been stalking them and that he may be dangerous.

Hutto was in court on Monday, but the judge did not say when she may make her ruling regarding the state's request that his bond be revoked.

Hutto is no longer associated with Salt Life.
