Miami Beach Police Have New Tool To Fight Spring Break Crime

As we head into the peak week of spring break, Miami Beach Police unveil a real time intelligence center and security drone. Commissioner Alex Fernandez says this groundbreaking technology enhances the department's capability to respond to incidents as they are happening. He says this gives the city eyes on crime in a preemptive strike against mass shootings and chaos. The two-million-dollar project is partially funded by the 2018 voter-led General Obligation Bond.
