The talented JP Saxe stopped by Valentine in The Morning to talk all things new music, working with Lewis Capaldi and touring with John Mayer.
During our time, JP discussed his excitement towards a Summer of kicking it with the “trees, the birds, the plants and flowers” as he takes a break from his chaotic touring schedule. Saxe will be opening for John Mayer on his fall tour around the United States. When he's not busy touring, JP has been writing for iconic artists such as Lewis Capaldi and Sabrina Carpenter.
We couldn’t chat about the meaning behind his new music without taking a deep dive into his Canadian upbringing. JP reflected on growing up as an only child and the importance of valuing your community. JP’s views on his own future family? He wants a lot of kids, 12 maybe, Cheaper By The Dozen style.
The team was treated to a special performance of his new hit single “I Don’t Miss You”. This acoustic version is an absolute delight to the ears and the ultimate relatable breakup ballad.
You don't want to miss JP’s intimate sit down with the team. Check out his interview with Valentine In The Morning.
